About our Ministry Area -
Our Ministry Area extends from Leckwith, through Llandough, Cogan, Penarth Marina, all of Penarth, Lavernock and almost to Sully. It has five churches -
We are situated just to the south of Cardiff in the Vale of Glamorgan. It’s mainly a suburban area with good links to Cardiff and has a large hospital (Llandough, part of UHW) within the parish boundaries. The Ministry Area is in the Diocese of Llandaff in the Church in Wales. Our Diocesan Bishop is the Right Reverend Mary Stallard

NEW MINISTRY AREA LEADER
The Bishop of Llandaff, The Right Reverend Mary Stallard is delighted to announce the appointment of the Reverend Philip Maudsley as Ministry Area Leader of the Penarth Ministry Area. Phil is currently the Vicar of Filey in the Diocese of York and will begin his ministry in Penarth in September.
Please pray for Phil, his wife Esther and their family as they prepare for their move to South Wales and pray for the respective Church communities as everyone concerned prepares for this change.
Phil’s licensing service will be on Tuesday 22nd September at 6pm in St Augustine’s Church.
